Focal unveiled the 300 ICA6 angled in-ceiling loudspeaker at the ISE (Integrated System Europe) trade fair last week. Available from September for $499, the French company says the 300 Series speaker is both discrete and easy to install. Although designed for use in both home theater and hi-fi installations, Focal promotes the ICA6’s suitability as an Atmos/DTS:X height speaker.
As with the original 300 Series speaker line, the 300 ICA6 is manufactured in France at Focal’s workshops in Saint-Étienne, and incorporates aluminum/magnesium inverted dome tweeters and flax cones. These design assets and technologies are deployed to make them coherent with the brand’s Aria and Kanta lines.
