    Hello all,

I wanted to know if anyone has any experience with Fluance
speakers. I am looking at the Fluance SX-HTB package and it looks good for the price of $299. Also which subwoofer in the $400 range would work well with this? Thank you all
    for any input.

$400 range you should be getting the SVS PB10_ISD. Legit down to 18hz.

I second the SVS. As for the Fluance, these are what I'm thinking of recommending to someone already. I've heard a lot of good reviews on them, especially for the price. http://www.audioreview.com/cat/speak...x.aspx#reviews
They do have a lenghty break-in, so don't send it back if you don't like the sound right away.

That's funny, I submitted a review two years ago to that same link.
I still have those speakers and they still sound good.
I found the center channel was directional and I settled on raising it 5" off the ground. The voices are much clearer now to listen to.

The package is excellent for the price with the exception of the center. You will most likely want to upgrade to the AV-SC - less than $100 and worth the upgrade.

Where did you find the speakers for $299, or are you including the shipping in this price?

    Fluance Direct - $259.99 + ship
    OakvilleSound - $249.95 + ship
