I just bought some lead shot this month...call around to fun stores, and you should find it. Comes in 25lb bags(about half the size of a 5lb bag of flour)..cost me 26 bucks for 2 bags.

You know, as I often as I've read on this forum how it's recommended to load your stand with lead shot, I wonder how many have actually done it? I mean, if it's so hard to come by that we're reduced to emptying it shell be shell, it seems ridiculous. After all, they relable "Blu-Tak" as "Audio-Tak" and sell it at the various audioshoppes, why not sell bulk shot, as well?
