What a wonderful release. I hope anyone who didn't pick it up the first time doesn't let it slip away again.
Agreed, great release, as all of Thunderbean's releases are.
I myself cannot wait to have Mr. Bug Goes to Town on blu! No release date, but when Steve releases it, I know it will be great.

Too bad it's not eligible for Prime. Bit pricey.

Just screened the blu-ray. What a great release, so happy to see this film again. I watched it on TV and loved it and I may have even seen in a theater back in the day. And the shorts are gravy. Thank you Thunderbean.

Seriously? $18.95 + $4.00 shipping seems quite reasonable to me for this release.
So weird. As you were posting this I clicked on the link to Amazon for $24.96 with free shipping. I said what the hell. And I get it tomorrow. So I ordered it.

Then again, how much would you say was too much to pay for, say, SONG OF THE SOUTH? It's all personal priorities. GULLIVER is absolutely worth every penny you spend for it. It's sharp as a tack, shows off its Technicolor roots beautifully, contains...and this is an animated film now...visible grain! The dialog and music are crystal clear. Nothing not to love about this release.

But I see you ordered it. $25.? It's a giveaway. There are bonus features including 8 short cartoons (including two Gabby's, a Popeye, and a Betty Boop!) and a wonderful booklet (remember those?). You're gonna love it, Tino!

Can't wait for an announcement of MR. BUGS GOES TO TOWN!

You guys are right of course. I think it may have dropped in price since my initial post. It's on it's way and out for delivery! Thanks guys!

Quite possible. I took a look at camelcamelcamel who shows it to have been ~$100 a day or two up to and possibly including the announcement date of the reissue (which includes your post). I'm guessing that was gougers taking advantage of an OOP situation. Had I looked on those days I'd have agreed 100% on the price. :)
