I think including the CD in the package is a great idea. I am hesitant to buy a DVD-A of a album I don't yet own on CD. I'm afraid that I'll like it too much and want a CD version to listen to on-the-go.

I will buy this set for that reason alone.

    Great news, thanks!

Will this be available without the CD? I already have the cd and would hate to waste money on it again.

Why don't you give your old CD to a friend? I did that with The White Stripes 3rd album when it was rereleased with a bonus DVD. Now my friend loves the White Stripes.

Oh, it's the 22nd of September.

Grrr! Every other time I've seen this discussed it said the second of September, and that's what I have been telling people.

    So who's correct??

It says the 2nd on their official site.

I would imagine the 22nd is for the UK.

    It is Brian.

The press release is for the UK date - but the information is the same as the US version.. [IMG]

    Hmmmm.

flaminglips.com has the release date as September 23 as does Amazon. DVDEmpire.com has it listed as September 2.

I'd look for it on the 23rd, I think.
