Hey all, I got a screened in back porch and my dog managed to jump through one of the screen windows in an attempt to get outside. Now the screen is detached on the bottom, how do I fix something like this? it looks like a simple job but I'm not sure how to do it. Please help! thanks.

If it's a wood frame, you could probably jsut take it apart and staple gun it back on. If it's metal, I think it might have to be done professionally.

But more importantly, is the dog ok?;)

Depends how the screen was installed and if the screen was torn. If so, simply go buy spline and a pizza cutter (actually a tool that looks like a pizza cutter - but thats what its called). Remove old spline and screen. Position new screen and press the new spline in. Easy really.

It may be simply stapled in which case you will have to remove the molding covering the staples. Also an wasy task but you will need a staple gun.

I would recomend fiberglass screen unless you have smokers.
