This is hard but at the same time it is amazing how many show just don't hold up over time.

Agreed. Even just looking back at my list from a little under two years ago, I don't think I'd agree with half of them.

I think a lot of it has to do with technology, fashions and the goody-goody attitude portrayed. I was going to include "Columbo" and "Banacek" on my list, but just ran out of room. Old Twighlight Zone and Hitchcock shows also belong on my list, but I think they need some updating to not appear so dated. I don't even think I was born when some of they came out, but many of them have become classics.
