This is for my bedroom (I actually am waiting for the receiver to arrive). I have been reading that there is a 4 ohm and 8 ohm switch on the back of the receiver. I am running Kef Q series (55 for Front, 90 for center and 10 for rear). These are 6 ohm speakers...do I leave it on 8 ohm or 4 ohm??? Thanks.

Sony states that anything below 8 ohms the receiver ohm switch should be put to 4 ohms. I also have 6 ohm speakers and I have tried it in both settings. I have not noticed any reduced output when put in 4 ohm mode. If I left it at 8 ohm and played it for a bit I noticed the amp was hotter. Also they recommend that you turn off the receiver before moving the switch.
