I don't know about everyone else but the first six months of 2002 for me has been really slow in terms of quality or big dvd releases. I have only bought 5 dvds so far this year (Atlantis:CE; Sixth Sense and Unbreakable Vista Series, Hunchback of Notre Dame and Iron Monkey). Geez, coincidentally all Disney releases. The only other 'big release for the first half of the year is 'Harry Potter'and the extras on that seem to be of the 'powder puff' variety. To tell you the truth, it has been hard to maintain my interest in dvds during this slow time. I guess I should be saving my money for the second half with all the big releases due to come out then. The list includes Simpsons (Season 2), Monsters Inc., LOTR (both versions), Beauty and the Beast, Pearl Harbor (VISTA series), Back to the Future Trilogy (hopefully), Raiders of the Lost Ark (hopefully), ET and the release of the summer blockbusters such as Spider-man and Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. What does everyone think?
