The film starts out okay, maybe a little too underwhelming and unbelievable for a hostage sitaution for the duration of the time that passes for the bank heist in motion. The middle section is okay, not great, not horrible, but then the transition to the 3rd act needed a huge shot of adrenaline (or viagra, whatever) that it never got, so the rest of film limps to the finish line.

Perhaps I just never bought Harrison Ford as the VP of Security for a bank firm, or the insane way the necessary info was retrieved to effect a bank heist.

I give it 2.5 stars, or a grade of C+.

A while back, I saw a trailer for a movie about a bank heist that looked mildly interesting. The setup was that this was supposed t be the "perfect" heist. (Yeah, right). I can't remember the film's title, though.

I do remember that the heist involved taking a large number of hostages, and disguising them as robbers (same jumpsuit, same mask, etc), and using this hostage exchange as a cover for getting out with the loot.

Did this occur in firewall, or was the trailer for another movie?

That is the trailer for "Inside Man", starring Clive Owen, Denzel Washington and Jodie Foster.
