I got a Ranking of "E". Is it worth repeating the game again for a higher ranking? Anyone know if you get better endings with better rankings?

All I know is that:

Each time you finish the game with a higher ranking you get to purchase a better house, better frames for the portraits, and the next time through you get better ghostbusting tools. These are the same tools, only stronger. Thus you have a higher chance of getting a better grade. To my knowledge, the ending is the same. I'm still working on Bowser-boo though. It's very frustrating walking to the final round over and over again.
