finish for black stands (speaker/TV) (1 Viewer)

I'm building my own speaker stands and a TV stand to match. I had planned on using MDF to put this together, but I have no idea what I'm going to use to do as Mick and Keith ask us to do... "Paint it Black"


My Studio 40's are the black laminate so the finish should work well with a laminate. Though my TV is silver, but I'm not planning on buying a TV to coordinate.


One more qualifier... Budget is a consideration. I'm not interested in spending a lot of money on this, so please be gentle on my wallet.
