Last Wed, I set up my Axiom M22's, VP 100 and QS8's... last Friday I got my SVS PB12+ (Ron was right, the Mercury Red is STUNNING), and configured the system.
All I did this weekend was watch movies: Star Wars, X-Men and X2, Spiderman 2, Toy Story 2, some Matrix flicks, Dodgeball, etc. Next Saturday, I'm going to go through the 3 Lord of the Rings extended editions.
I waited 7 months for this: researching/demoing speakers, figuring out how to get an aesthetically pleasing set of wall mountable speakers (wall-mounted => cat proof) within my budget that sounded as good as possible, building a condo (and all the grueling construction delays), embedding wires behind the drywall during construction, cutting holes in walls to fish the wires out, dealing with a wife who wanted me to go with a Bose systems b/c of the discreteness of their cubes... now that it's all set up, I love it! The wait and effort was so worth it! I had fun and I learned a lot... oh, and I also love the sound!
Thank you to everyone on this forum who helped answer my (often naive) questions along the way.
