Many thanks to Allen Ross for hosting the pix for me. Here they are:

Like I said in my earlier posting, this is a Dayton DVC12 with a PE 250W amp and 4" flared port. It was built to Adire SBB4 specs out of 0.75" MDF (no screws, all glue and clamps!), then laminated with 0.25" Oak plywood. The top is solid 0.75" oak, and the molding pieces are solid 0.25" oak.

The make-shift feet are 2 2.5" sq cuts from an old 2x3. I intentionally left the feet a bit shorter than normal to allow for the addition of spikes (as soon as they arrive). As you can tell, the feet aren't completely finished yet. I plan on covering the inner sides with the oak as soon as I can get another piece from Home Depot.

That is all. Thanks to everyone that helped in the planning stages. This think hits very deep and very loud. Gotta love it!!

Great sub! I've been having some thoughts lately on what to do for a sub (since my chances of making a sonosub are quickly dwindling), and a coffee table of sorts is really looking good to me.

Do you have any more pictures, possibly of the construction process?

    Thanks everyone.

Joe Hsu, sorry, at the time of building my brother borrowed our digital camera for a trip. So I only have 2 other pix, one of the underside without amp and sub, and one of the inner braces as seen through the sub hole.

I really just followed the blueprints provided on the Adire website (SBB4 vented alignment), then glued on the oak pieces. It was really quite simple.

I'll try to send you the extra pix this evening.

    *shudder*

    Not at your work.

I shudder at the thought of back breaking labor and ploom of MDF cloud.

Mine's almost done just needs to veneer it. All MDF glue and clamp only plus solid mahogany feet.

    I need a digital camera.
