nice stuff! very well done. glad to see i'm not the only one around here using vintage speakers. i'm running home-built advent doubles (1976 components) across the front, and i just re-foamed a pair of 1972 smaller advent woofers for the surround rear channels. they will inhabit a pair of ar-94 boxes i have lying around, along with the correct tweeters and xovers. until i get the new bookcases for the back wall. then they get built-in.

gonna have a bunch of people come over today to watch master and commander. gotta go, still stuff to do.

Thanks Andy! Yeah vintage rocks. Those big ol Cornwalls certainly get the house moving.

well, i sure like them! here is a shot of the system:



i have grills for the L-R mains that float in front of the box, vertically. gives some interesting visual angles, considering the baffle is slanted. no grills for the center channel woofer modules yet.
