Well I'm one happy camper right now. Been out of school since April and I finally have a job, and it should be a good one at that. I start the middle of next week as a Junior Programmer/Analyst with Point2 Technologies Inc.
From what I've seen so far my patience (ya right, my dumb luck I couldn't find anything else for this long :p)) really payed off as I don't think I could be at a better place for my first real full time job [IMG]

    Congratulations!
Can't wait to see what sort of DIY projects come out of this new flow of income. [IMG]

Congratulations!! Is the job in Saskatoon?
That reminds me of something completely off-topic but completely After-Hours:
Does anyone remember a cartoon on Sesame Street with some sort of green creature playing a banjo on the moon with a child astronaut telling him something that rhymes with moon is "La Lune"? The song also rhymed moon with Saskatoon [IMG]

Yep, it's in Saskatoon. Which will work great for me. As my current situation has my living costs rather low. So I should be able to put a fare chunk of cash away and still have a chunk left over for toys.
I think I want to try for a FPTV first. So that will lead to a DIY screen and a new DIY component rack with some hush boxes. Then after that I'll be looking at building some speakers and a new sub. Could take a while [IMG]

I'd always wondered what that "B" (in Dustin B) stood for before...

I doubt it :b Don't want to try and roof mount a CRT where I'm at. Don't want to have to worry about convergence or burn in anymore. And I'd like to not have to worry about complete room light control whenever I want to watch some TV.

I will be doing a 4 way masking system for a constant area screen though (well for the two movie formats anyways, I'll let 4:3 shrink in area).

Start saving money NOW! At your age compound interest will make you rich if you start piling money away. (Of course, this is after getting a phat processor, projector, player, speakers... :b )
