    Hello, everyone.
I've compiled a list of movies I'd like to see arrive on DVD. Preferrably OAR'd and with alot of extras, these DVD's would be icing on the cake for my ever-expanding DVD Collection. Please feel free to make any additions as to what you'd like to see come to DVD. They are in no particular order:

    Fire in the Sky (1993)
    The Quest (1986)
    Cloak & Dagger (1984)
    Cocoon (1985)
    Cocoon: The Return (1988)
    THX-1138 (1971)
    Kagemusha (1980)
    Gleaming the Cube (1989)
    The Wizard (1989)
    Running on Empty (1988)
    My Own Private Idaho (1991)
    Scarecrow (1973)
    Bobby Deerfield (1977)
    Revolution (1985)
    Jimmy Hollywood (1984)
    The Public Eye (1992)
Awakenings (1990) Want more extras and better transfer.
Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994) Same as above.

End of list for right now. My list will continue as following be needed to. Thanks. [IMG]

I finally broke down and bought the Region 2 Kagemusha.

My want list is shrinking down to almost nothing. The 3 big wants for me are TV shows... Batman TAS,Giant Robo Series, and Millennium.

As for DVDs Id like to see rereleased in 16x9 - especially the bad Oliver Stone DVDs out there.

    These DVDs a disaster:
    Nixon
Born On The Fourth Of July
    Natural Born Killers
    The Doors

    Also:
    Kubrick Collection
    Blade Runner
    The Wild Bunch
    Fist Full of Dollars
    For a Few Dollars More
    Nowhere
    Dead Presidents Dir Cut
    Bound
    Last Emperor
    Wild Side
    Raising Arizona
    Rocketeer

I'll second Night of the Creeps (1986) and add The Monster Squad (1987), License to Drive (1988), Modern Problems (1981), and My Best Friend is a Vampire (1988).

Searching Gleaming the Cube whilst I originally put the list together (the first 'wave') I searched on the net and all the DVD listings say it's not Anamorphic Widescreen and is bare bones, more so than a sun bleached skeleton on a sandy plateau.
I can't believe I forgot to add Monster Squad!!
    Sweet, dudes and dudettes!

    Brian,
Could you please fill me in on this because Cocoon is one of my fave duologies. It's about time this finally arrives on DVD. Hopefully both Mr. Howard and Mr. Petrie will personally supervise their film. Both adding commentary and in-depth featurettes would be the icing on the cake. Deleted scenes and a retrospective would be suitably excellent.

I'd also like to see Highway to Hell on Region 1 DVD. Monster Dog, the Alice Cooper werewolf movie, would also be a welcome addition to my DVD library, does anyone know who owns the rights?

Gordon, I believe this is the wrong thread for that since Region 1 is NTSC and not PAL. It'd probably be more suitable in a different one?
