I wanted to know if there are any updates regarding the expected release of The Desert Song (1943 Dennis Morgan version). There was a recent question regarding that at the Warner Archives Facebook site but no reply yet....

Still no definte word on the 1943 Dennis Morgan version of THE DESERT SONG in terms of whebn (or if) it will be released on dvd. However, today I freshly researched the wriiten score--and it's huge (three boxes of folders). Dennis Morgan also sang the famous "Desert Song" song ("My des-ert is wait-ing...") but Heindorf had a somewhat different arrangement of the piece, but nothing major (instrumetal changes). Here's a image of the music I hand-copied partially....
