I watched "The Race to Save 100 Years" the other night and it brough forth my desire to work in this field. I have toyed around with this idea for several years. My problem is that I have no idea where to start. I'm aware that UCLA has a program, but I live outside of Chicago and would like to investigate programs in this region.
Any contacts or web-links would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

It's a pretty narrow field. I know that the George Eastman House in Rochester, NY has a course in Film Preservation. I'm sure Robt. Harris could fill you in on what you need to do in order to get into the field.
