Hi all,
There's no use to lie about it: I bought the four-disc set of FOTR last week and my copy of the two disc set will probably never be watched again. So, I figured I would offer it up to someone here who might just like to have a copy of the original theatrical version of the film.
This is, of course, the widescreen version of the film. The discs are in perfect condition (the film was watched three times, and the extras disc only once) and have no scratches. It comes in the original dark green double Amaray with cover art and the insert with chapter listing (the only thing missing from this is the coupon book insert). It's spent the last four months in a non-smoking home and is as close to "new" as you're likely to get from a used disc.
(Oh yeah, I almost forgot: the cover art hasn't been tampered with. I lost the receipt for this disc and as such, I wasn't able to take advantage of the $5 rebate offer, so the cover art is 100% intact in case you were wondering
