I was wondering if anyone knew why sometimes when I turn on and off my rec and amp, I sometimes her a sound from speakers, it is almost like a 'pop'.

Be sure to power off the amplifier first and this should help. An amplifier is the last component in the chain before the speakers. Shutting it off first mutes the remaining components. If you still have a noise, it may indicate a problem with the amp circuitry. Have it checked.

I believe it is the caps in the amp making the noise as they dump some charge, and is normal. I don't think there is anything you can do about it. Powering off the amp first probably won't make a difference.
