It doesn't have the terrific two-hour documentary from the R1 Limited Edition... get that version instead if you can.

This is the front cover of Anchor Bay’s R1 DVD of THE STUNT MAN (single-disc edition):
http://www.dvdempire.com/Exec/v4_ite...id=40491&tab=5
These are the front and back covers of THE STUNT MAN: LIMITED EDITION (2-Disc Set):
http://www.dvdempire.com/Exec/v4_ite...id=40492&tab=5
http://www.dvdempire.com/Exec/v4_ite...2&tab=5&back=1
As you can see, the 2-Disc Set is limited to 100,000 copies.
Still, I may be wrong, Oscar, but the cover of the upcoming UK edition on the “R2 Project” website’s home page is given as red – i.e. like the R1 LE Set! Interestingly, just a few days ago, I had seen it listed among the “Future Releases” of the Anchor Bay UK website as well, but for some reason it’s been removed now!
Anyway, I own the LE Set - a superb package which does the film complete justice, in my opinion – and, so, I heartily second Jussi’s suggestion to get that one instead of the single-disc edition. Actually, I think you should wait a little bit longer - maybe it gets released as a 2-Disc Set in the UK as well, and at Play.com’s often discounted prices of Anchor Bay discs, you’d be getting one hell of a bargain!
If you’re a Peter O’ Toole fan, I would also recommend Criterion’s excellent edition of the brilliant and blackly comic satire, THE RULING CLASS (1971) – perhaps the actor’s finest hour on screen!

Roderick

Thanks for all the info about The Stunt Man R1 LE.

Since joining HTF I have bought more DVDS unseen than I thought possible, and all of these have been gems like this. I still have to go through LOTR, ATOC & Spider-Man Extras & Commentaries. Maybe I should just lock myself up for a few days and not frequent the HTF. That was a joke ofcourse.

I thought that Lawrence of Arabia is pure brilliance and having spend the night at Wadi Rum in the open space there recently, makes it an even more special movie

Cheers
