I'm curious as to what happened to this show that was supposed to air last fall on the WB. It was starring Rachel Cook and was based on the books series by Francine Pascal.

It looked fairly decent from the few previews I had seen. I was interested in seeing it because I had read the series.

Does anyone know if it was shelved or maybe just on hold till further notice?

Killed. The producers wanted a chance to rework the pilot, which was apparently both short in length and any sort of personality for Rachel Leigh Cook's character. Then it never came together, and the project was abandoned.

Too bad; I was curious (admittedly, in a partly-morbid way) how RLC would do in an action role, since I'd never given that idea any thought.
