For me, a good or bad film score can really make or break a movie; which ones stand out for you guys?

To list a few, in no particular order:

    The Empire Strikes Back
    Psycho
    Cast Away
    Gladiator
    Return of the King
    The Magnificent Seven
    The Shawshank Redemption

    Alexander,

If you listen to the famous theme from the Natural, the whole track, you will hear the theme of the fellowship from the Lord of the Rings.

Bravo, I would add The Mission, although a mediocre film, IMO.
