corn flakes, actual whole milk, a little sugar pure plain and simple. don't complicate with bananas! DAY OH no!! not needed.
Peanut butter and Choc Cheerios/Mixed whole grain Cheerios are both in the house now. I like to mix that with original Life.
These days I eat oatmeal and occasionally Malt-O-Meal at breakfast (and the only cereals I eat to which I add a bit of sugar):
I've tried Chocolate and Maple Malt-O-Meal but didn't care for them. Just the original.
There are quite a few cold cereals I enjoy and will eat for Saturday morning "breakfast."
Eaten only with milk:
And a few I keep around for snacking - usually *without* milk (although sometimes with milk as breakfast):
The first time I had Grape Nuts (not flakes) I made my normal bowl full. That was a mistake! I was so tired of chewing by the time I finished that bowl that I didn't purchase them again for years. I now get them occasionally (once every year or so) but put a very small amount in the bowl. A few years back I decided to try them hot - after all I really like other hot cereals - thinking it would soften them and make them easier to eat. Nope. They stay just as hard cooked as cold and tasted the same so why bother.
Favorite all-time for me, are the Fruity and Cocoa Pebbles. But the Peanut Butter Cocoa one is horrible, and this coming from someone who loves chocolate and peanut butter together.
I do like a lot of different cereals, and get whatever ones that are on sale in my local supermarket.
