I wish someone would pick up this Oscar-winning movie and "do it right". Great story, great acting, funny. Just a joy to watch.

Any thoughts of restoration or conservation for this film?

Well I certainly agree with you regarding the appeal of the film - when I feel like cheering myself up this is the film to raise your spirits. Cary Grant gives a wonderfully warm and funny performance and Leslie Caron is extremely easy on the eyes.

Walter Eckland: [In a hushed voice] Hey, here she comes again.
Catherine Freneau: How do you know it's a "she"?
Walter Eckland: Her mouth is open, now be quiet.

According to the reviews the image is widescreen but non-anamorphic.

I'll wait until this classic is done right. Until then, my trusty VHS copy will have to do.
