I went out on a limb and went with dunn, goings, and johnson
nice ouput, 4 touchdowns and about 350yds between them
i also went with muhammad and harrison which was good as johnson did nothing.

so far so good. still late games to go though.

*edit*
alright now the late games are over, by my count i'm only up by 14 pts with my opponent having chambers tomorrow night. What really has me mad is that weiner of a colt defender who stepped out at the 3yd line at the end of the game. I had the colts defense and those 6pts would have made me sleep alot easier tonight!

Well, I won the first round of the playoffs, 2 to go.

Question - Do I play McNabb or Leftwich? McNabb has been my top points man all year, but Leftwich has outscored him considerably in the last two games and the Jags are still fighting for the postseason. But mainly, with home field all wrapped up for the Eagles, I'm wondering how much McNabb will actually play. Not to mention the status of his top WR...

Next two weeks
McNabb - week 16 at StL & week 17 home vs Cin

Leftwich - week 16 home vs Hou & week 17 at Oak

What do you guys think?

McNabb will be on cruise control and probably will not play the entire game now that Philly has wrapped up home field. He is also missing is #1 target in TO. Leftwich is playing a poor pass defense (Houston). I'm starting Leftwich over Brady this week.

After a series of strange events, and the help of Drew Bennet, I made it to the championship in my other league. Looks like the Moss for McCallister trade really worked out for me, and strangely enough, I will be facing the guy that I traded him to for the title.

My team for the championship game is as follows:

Delhomme
Muhammed
Bennett
R.Moss
E.James
M.Pittman or L.Johnson
T.Gonzalez
Keading is my kicker
+ 6 individual defensive players, which is superior to his.

His team for the title game is:

Hasselbecka
D.Jackson
J.Horn
R.Smith
C.Martin
J.Bettis or D.McCallister
J.Wiggins
Vinatieri + 6 individual defensive players

Should be a very good game, in this weeks game for example I scored 122.5 and he scored 126.6

Good Luck to all,
Brandon

There is a large and growing contingent of "experts" who think McNabb, and especially Westbrook will see a LOT of play time on Monday due to the fact that they need to develop a different game play/chemistry for the playoffs. With TO out, the focus is radically different. Sure, nothing is at stake on paper - but, this is now, esentially, the same offense that lost to Carolina in the playoffs last year.

I'm torn - do I start Westbrook or Heap as my swing guy? I'm now leaning toward Westbrook.

There is some logic to that, but if either one gets injured Andy Reid will be strung up in Philly.

Here's my starting dilemma for a meaningless playoff battle for 5th place -- pick two of the following:

Hines Ward vs. Balt.
Julius Jones vs. Wash.
Houshmandzadeh vs. Giants
Shaud Williams at SF
Sammy Morris vs. Cleve.
Doug Gabriel at KC

Right now I have Jones and Houshman in the lineup -- I think Hines Ward will get shutdown. Williams could be a sneaky play if Travis Henry cannot play (McGahee is out). I just picked the rookie off the waiver wire.

Scott,
I also like Jones & Houshman.

Well, I've got my money league wrapped up with 2 weeks still to go. No one is able to catch me with 12 wins so far. Thanks y'all for the sounding board here. It helped alot. As for your commisions, well, its being spent on a new SVS subwoofer. :D

Now its time to start planing for the playoffs. Here are the basics.

Scoring league only.
Passing TD = 3pts.
Rushing TD = 6pts.
Kick/Punt Return TD = 6 pts.
FG = 3 pts.
PAT = 1 pt.
2 pt. conversion = 2 pts.
No negatives for turnovers.
DEF TD = 6pts.
DEF starts with 10 pts.
1-6 pts. allowed = -3 pts. (7 left)
7-13 pts allowed = -7 pts. (3 left)
14-20 pts allowed = -9 pts. (1 left)
21+ pts allowed = -10 pts. (0 left)

We re-draft after the regular season and pick only players heading to the post season. We get to pick...
1qb
2rb's
2wr's
1te
1k
1DEF
Whomever we draft is who we are stuck with for the entire playoffs. So the trick is to draft players who will...
1)play the most games
2)score a lot of td's
Also something to consider is that players on bye weeks wont get you any pts for the 1st week.

Since I won the regular season, I get 1st pick. The draft does not snake, so I pick again at 7, and so on.

What teams would you guys concentrate on. I am leaning towards Indianapolis, and may pick The Edge 1st. My thinking for picking Indy is this,,,If NE and PIT get the 1st week byes, Indy gets to play an extra game the 1st week, and I personally like their chances this year, even with no DEF. But thats just my opinion. i'm asking your opinions on who you would look at. What teams would you look to in drafting for this kind of format?
