Is there any news on how soon the new season of Family Guy will hit DVD? With Desperate Housewives, they announced it pretty early in the season.

Yeah but not six episodes into the season[IMG]

It'll probably be out slightly before Season Five starts on Fox.

I don't know, but I just read that news item at tvshowsondvd.com about the 83-minute direct-to-DVD Family Guy title about Stewie going in search of his real father. I'm there!! We can only hope Futurama direct-to-DVD stuff is in our future, too!

I can't wait to see that! Feature length 'Family Guy'! As for season four, it's been either hit-or-miss with me. With 6 episodes aired, there are three that I loved, and three that I didn't. Either way, I'll definitely get the inevitible season 4 release.

I haven't seen a single new episode. I bought Family Guy on a blind buy and loved it. As soon as season 4 comes out it'll be on my shelf. The stewie dvd sound good too. I have been buying tv on dvd for over a year now and I just can't stand normal tv anymore. The logo branding on screen, commercials and editing really ruin it.

Resumed watching season 4 of Family Guy. The episodes I've been watching are from "Season 5". This is what the boxset is called in the UK, when in fact it's the second half of the 27 episode fourth season, the first season after the 2-3 year break off FOX.

I don't know how they get away with some of the jokes, verbal and visual, in the show. "PTV" and "Brian Goes to College" were classics. And that A-Team title sequence homage was brilliant.
