Hello FALCON CREST fans, this is the one. This is the place where you can all make your ideas for extras on the FALCON CREST season one DVD's known. This message is IN NO WAY a declaration that FALCON CREST has been announced for release officially, but the www.falconcrest.org website has said it is coming and this is a very legitimate and accurate website.

Having said this, I want to make known what kinds of special features I personally would LOVE to see on FALCON CREST when it is released to us on DVD.

Do the fellas at www.tvshowsondvd.com know anything about Falcon Crest coming out on DVD? Ideally, I'd like to see the show available sooner rather than later.

Nice ideas for extras by the way, Tom. For season one, I'd definitely like to see the unscreened pilot, "The Vintage Years". There shouldn't be any problems with its inclusion, since it's already available for download.

Aside from that, commentaries on selected episodes from both cast members and production personnel would be most welcome.

But a commitment to releasing all nine seasons - uncut - is most important.

Tom you really need a job as a dvd packager. I hope the FC dvd has half the stuff you want, but these older shows always end up as bare-bones releases. Here's hoping anyway.

Personally the first and second seasons, are the two I am interested in !!!! I loved it when LANA TURNER was on a Jacqueline Perrault. There was a rumor she was slated to be a regular, and Jane Wyman, stepped in and vetoed it. She and Lana were bitter rivals ?? I thought some of the best scenes, were, when the two of them were on the screen together. Then, I read some years later, she and Jane filmed their scenes separately, because they didn't get along. The other season, I liked was when Kim Novak was a regular for the season.

Yes, Jane Wyman eventually gave the producers an ultimatum at the end of season two, along the lines of "either she goes, or I go."

Kim Novak was a regular on Falcon Crest during season six. Cesar Romero and Rod Taylor were also leading cast members.

Also, look out for:

Gina Lollobrigida - in season four.
Celeste Holm - end of season four/early season five.
Robert Stack - season six.
Eddie Albert, Eve Arden, Leslie Caron & Ursula Andress - season seven.

Have Warners actually confirmed that Falcon Crest will be out on DVD???
