Okay...I've waited a long time to post anything on this so I feel with 2009 just 26 days away, the time has come.
FALCON CREST is ready to be uncorked. It has a solid premise, a solid cast and supporting cast AND it has a very solid and strong fanbase.
We all know the story. "FALCON CREST will be contingent on the success of future KNOTS LANDING sales." - WB Chat.
So here are my thoughts...
WB needs to release the series already, or sell it to another studio so its fans can start buying and enjoying the show again. Holding it in the dusty vaults of your organization is not going to make you money and offering it to another organization for release would be most appreciated.
Hope you'll consider this option as it's obvious you're ignoring the FALCON CREST fanbase and relying on the fans of KNOTS LANDING to prove FALCON CREST is worthy of a release.
Who was the brainchild behind that wonderful decision? KNOTS LANDING only followed FALCON CREST for four or five episodes at the end of FALCON CREST's run. For nine SUCCESSFUL years, FALCON CREST followed DALLAS on Friday nights in the 10 p.m. time slot on CBS. Whoever researched this fact didn't do their job very well. Angela Channing would've already run them out of town for that error.
So, can you please get someone reliable to do the marketing research for FALCON CREST? The least you can do is include a trailer of FALCON CREST in the second season sets of KNOTS LANDING to test the waters?
It'll hardly cost WB a fortune to create a 5 minute featurette on FALCON CREST to get it out there for others to watch either again or for the very first time.
C'mon WB! Let's shake off the dust from your creative team and get people in there who know what they're doing!
Thank you for
