fair price for Marantz SR8200 receiver (1 Viewer)

A buddy of mine is interested in buying my Marantz SR8200 receiver. Does anybody know what a fair price would be? I don't want to gouge him, but at the same time I don't want to get taken advantage of either.

Check eBay and Audiogon, that is the typical way to go. "Fair market value" is generally determined by what other people are buying it for at the time of sale. My guess is about $600-$650.

Does it have the latest firmware update?
