Fabulous Baker Boys: How good (or bad) is the transfer? (1 Viewer)

I know that it's not anamorphic, but is the transfer of The Fabulous Baker Boys DVD any good at all? I'd really like to pick this one up and I have a feeling that the odds of seeing an SE any time in the near future are pretty much nil.

It isn't great, but it's watchable. Only 2.0 sound, but you get a commentary from the DP, a kind of strange choice, but he has a few good comments.

i'll have to dig it out again tonight to make sure, but i remember not being very disappointed at all by it.

i could have sworn this was anamorphic.

It's definitely non-anamorphic. It is very just okay, if you know what I mean. You won't be calling your friends over to show off your new dvd, but it not awful, either. The sound is only 2.0, but is also, again, passable. I thought the DP commentary was pretty good. He talks alot about his experience working with a first time director. I got it relatively cheap off an ebay auction.
