Here it is, the defeated enemy.
No longer functioning as a DIVX player (works fine as a regular DVD player though), this was my original DVD player that my parents got me in 1997 for my 13th birthday (heh). I REALLY want this player out of my sight and maybe you want one for smashing and/or an "obsolete technology" collection. I want to sell it for $30 plus shipping or else, when I head off to college this fall... I am going to:
A) Smash it
B) Cast it off to the depths of my parents attic
C) Sacrifice it to the DVD gods :D
D) Sell it to some J6P ;)
any interest? :D
by the way, the model # is: RC5230Z

Ok, I am going to sweeten the deal. If you buy this DVD player... I will also throw in Fox's excellent The Planet of the Apes (2001) 2-disc set. :D
It's like getting a DVD player for $10 ;)

Be careful Kevin_Kr!!!! Those things have been known to kill people in their sleep and eat their children. You have been warned.

Doesn't look like w could agree on a price anyway so it must be pending wth someone else.

Rob,

Actually I found a different used player this afternoon. It's a good momento though, hope your other deal goes through
