Announced for release on November 6th from Umbrella Entertainment:

It's also available without the book

Excellent news that this horror classic is getting such a deluxe release! Last year's releases of The Last Wave and Possession on 4K UHD from Umbrella Entertainment were stellar. And they sold out very quickly - so if you want this, preordering is the only way to go!

No yellow subtitles. This is an absolutely gorgeous 4K UHD. It's probably from the same restoration that the Gaumount/Criterion blu-rays used way back in 2013, but this looks like a new scan, with a nice HDR pass - it works surprisingly well on my projector. People with OLED screens will be over the moon. The grain is much better resolved on the 4K UHD and the contrast and grey levels are superior. There is far more detail apparent in the opening scenes, compared with the Criterion. I've only had a brief look, but the first 10 minutes were extremely satisfying. I'll watch the whole movie tomorrow. Only took two weeks shipping and clearing customs. Unlike Imprint, who declare a symbolic sum for their 4K UHD sets, Umbrella Entertainment declare the full retail price paid - more VAT to pay!

The box set is $20 Australian dollars more ($12 US dollars) but I don't think the booklet is particularly good. I like the artwork on the box and it's not huge. It's irritating that Umbrella Entertainment don't supply any information about the source of the scan and who the mastering of the disc was performed by. This is now standard information from most boutique labels.

This is a brand new 4K scan of the OCN, followed by a 4k digital restoration. It's a completely different source than what was used back in 2010-2013. ;)
