Isn't this the movie that was originally called "detox"? I'm pretty sure it is (since they say something about a detox in the film).. i just hadn't heard anything about it getting a new name. It's actually a really decent movie. Not sure why it was never released into the theaters. with the right promotion i think it could have done fairly well. No..its not gorundbreaking or anything but it is pretty good entertainment, and certianly worth a look (IMO). anyone else seen it?

I PICKED THIS UP IN THE U.K. SEVERAL MONTHS AGO UNDER THE TITLE DETOX.I THOUGHT IT WAS A FAIRLY GOOD MOVIE AS WELL,ALTHOUGH I PREFER THE TITLE EYE SEE YOU.THE KILLER SAYS THIS A COUPLE OF TIMES DURING THE FILM.BEING THE SAD INDIVIDUAL THAT I AM,I WAS THINKING ABOUT BUYING THE MOVIE AGAIN JUST FOR THE EYE SEE YOU TITLE.

    i saw this.
i'm glad i got to see a free screener copy because if i bought it i would have run back to the store to get my money back.

i think the phrase "i see you" was said about 15 times in the movie.

plus i think it was straight to video for a good reason or 2.

stallone is not a money maker anymore and the movie was very week.

i know some will like this movie but i thought it was awful.

stephen when you use all caps in a post it implies that you are yelling or raising your voice. in case you were unaware of that internet etiquette quirk.

Is this the first ever straight-to-video Stallone movie?

While I enjoyed the movie, why do filmmakers make it so obvious who the killer is?

For instance, Clint Eastwood's BLOOD WORK: Who's the only other big name actor in the movie? BINGO -- ya' guessed who the killer is.
So many movies do this that it makes my head spin.

Eye See You is guilty of the opposite, but is just as obvious. You have a whole cast of recognizable actors (Tom Berenger, Courtney Vance, Robert Patrick, etc.) and then SOME GUY.

That being said, Eye See You is actually a pretty decent movie and Stallone underplays the role like he did in Copland. But this going straight to video puts Sly on the Van Damme/Seagal track, and that's sad.

I have to say I quite enjoyed this movie. It has a good surround track and I feel that this is one of Stallone's strongest movies in the past few years since Copland.
I grew up with Stallone and Schwarzenegger and think it's sad that they are no longer big box office draws, but I guess it couldn't last forever.

It was released theatrically in UK, and I got the R2 DVD half a year ago. Original title is Eye See You, it was renamed D-Tox in UK.
I've enjoyed the movie too, it was very good untill the last 15 mins or so when the director turns it into a slasher flick much like his previous I Know What You Did Last Summer...

A nice, laid-back slash film. Not quite on the level
of "Friday the 13th" but enough people were killed in
enough ways to qualify. BTW, I thought Dina Meyer
(for the 3 minutes she lived) look like Sharon Stone!

    Columbia is crapping out.

it defaults to pan&scan, and the pro logic track sounds better than the 5.1

    what gives?
