I keep seeing posts about how great this is on the Denon 4802 but I don't get it. How is this different and what are the benefits?
    Thanks

Anyone know how the new 96/24 chip on the 4802 differs from the older receivers?

Currently the DTS material is "limited" to 48khz sampling rate.Dts is working on the "true" 24 bit and and 96khz sampling rate software and apparently Denon already complied with the hardware. We'll see!
The current so called 24/96 converters are for the PCM encoded material.

But will we honestly notice the difference? As far as I can tell my HT system sounds AWESOME.
