Jeez, after a pretty flat summer so far, Sept. looks to cost me a small fortune.

This is more music in one month than I've bought over the last four months.

It looks like it is going to be a very expensive September for me as well, except for different reasons. The month opens up with a new SACD release of Stevie Ray Vaughn and Albert King. In addition to that, the new 5 disc box set of MARTIN SCORSES'S BLUES comes out with several single disc titles to accompany it. Also the month of September brings the first new Jimi Hendrix discs in almost a year, JIMI PLAYS BEREKLEY, both on CD and DVD with a 5.1 mix. Also, the new Hendrix Blues disc has cuts that haver before been released domestically, so that is worth looking in to. I have pre-ordered all of the above discs, so all I have to do is sit back and let them roll in. It looks like Sept. will be as expensive for my CD collection as October will be for my DVD collection.
