Got my Christmas shopping done yesterday, now my wallet is screaming for mercy.

The haul:

ROTK EE (for me).
Mary Poppins and Santa Claus: The Movie (for Mom).
Top Gun (with bonus disc, for my sister).
The 2-disc Larry Bird set (for an uncle).

The total ended up north of $100, I believe.

Expensive Day indeed.

Has anyone gotten their copy of How to Steal a Million? The release date was December 7, I pre-ordered it from DeepDiscountDVD, and they still have it listed as "pre-order."

LOL, Joel... you have no idea -- or maybe you do -- how happy I was when I went looking at the releases for December 28 and couldn't find anything I wanted. Phew!

However, I learned this morning that Mei Ah is releasing two Stephen Chow movies in remastered, anamorphic transfers on December 22 -- so add that to my December list. As my mother would say -- OY VEY. Or... "my aching wallet!"

So does anyone have a link or can anyone tell me about the changes to the music in the Quantum Leap season 2 set?

I note that Top Gun is at Costco for less than $12. Not sure what BB has it for, and you don't get the BB bonus, but I thought that price was a steal.

I didn't buy it at BB, but was unable to resist this evening at Costco.
