Can anyone recommend a couple of good exercise bikes? I've been quite the couch potato for the last 8 years. My bones and joints are in desperate need of some movement and exercise, plus I'd like to lose some weight.

    Upright or recumbent?

I have a Vision Fitness upright bike. I like it a lot. There is a big difference between cheap bikes and the more expensive bikes. You get what you pay for. I'm not sure of pricing now but I spent about $1000 four years ago. I ride it in the winter time when I can't go out on my mountain bike.
