Wow, I never would have guessed the old DVD was zoomed in that much. And that Blu Ray shot is beautiful. :)

I agree. I was impressed with Journey but I knew abut the 4K work and had high expectations (which were met), I had no idea that First Men would also look really good. The scenes inside of the cottage were stunning. The only thing I would say negative at all is that when they transitioned from inside to outside (the scenes just outside the cottage) the color seemed a bit off. But in whole, I was thoroughly impressed. :)

Just as an update I went out yesterday morning and when I returned I found Journey and U Turn in my box. Did not have a chance to watch them yesterday but they are on the agenda for today.

Apparently there's a reason that FIRST MEN looks so spectacular. I thought it was a 2K scan...but it turns out that it got the 4K treatment, same as JOURNEY. Oddly, there was nothing on the website or disc indicating that. But TT confirmed it on their Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/twilighttimemovies/photos/a.368933373125335.92475.199596136725727/927837280568272/

Mine arrived on Saturday. First Men and Journey look great, but neither looked as jaw dropping gorgeous as Solomon and Sheba. I had hoped it would look good, but it exceeds all my expectations. Great job, Twilight Time! This release is exactly why I would like to see more of this genre come out, HD really makes these films shine. Couldn't be happier.

When do they actually go on sale? I went to the Screen Archives site and all those titles are still listed at full price.
