Thanks Phil! I appreciate seeing the first internet review of one of the all time loved action adventure series.

Forgive me, but why would someone complain?

That's a great review! People have been complaining that the extras look like fluff, but based on this review, it looks like they will show some insight into all aspects of making the series. I can't wait.

Because there's a huge thread about the trilogy already in existance.

    Can't these be merged?

No point for a separate thread.

I'm tired of having only one thread for every DVD. There should be one thread for pre-release discussions, which are based on speculation. Then, there should be a seperate thread for the review of the film. The comments in the pre-release thread are usually almost a year old by the time the DVD actually comes out. I think it's important to have a seperate thread discussing the actual content.

Guys thanks for your comments, You wont be disappointed when you get your discs and i agree with regards to the menus. However there are no legal pages to sift through, put the disc in and the menus come up straight away! The THX "Lets See it" Trailer also appears for all three films.

Cool to hear they have Selleck screen tests. I'm glad he was a sport, unlike a certain Eric Stoltz on the BTTF set.

Selleck's all right. [IMG] It'll be cool to check out all that stuff.

My copy has been in the post for 5 days now, and I reckon I will get a customs charge as I did for the Warner Legends boxed set. Damn! Oh, well.

I think it's fine to have a new thread once actual reviews start coming out. But maybe the review threads should be combined.

The Tom selleck Test footage is very interesting, but I have problems imagining him in the role, glad Ford got the part.

DVDFile has their review posted this morning. Looks pretty solid. And they even take their time to mention that Best Buy is throwing in the 10-minute freebie disc with material from the original "Making of Raiders" special.

What happened to the teaser trailer for Temple of Doom? It was on the head of the very first VHS release of Raiders circa 1984. It was brief, about 90 seconds long, but it was there. Anyone remember this one or have it on tape?

I remember the teaser for which everyone is pining. Do we know for sure that this was released theatrically? I always assumed that this preview was exclusive to the first VHS release of Raiders only. I could be wrong, but I don't think so.
