I used to use that triple distilled water. My daddy was a doctor and he got it for me. I don't give my records the care I once did unless I'm getting ready to digitize it.
Articles such as this only serve to reinforce my original notion that I am happy I never experienced "true vinyl" (Just a mon all-in-one toy when I was a wee lad).
No, my musical experience has been cassette tape and CD. CD being an obvious improvement and CD not requiring any care except for buffing fingerprints off the shiny surface.
Yes, vinyl may sound "warmer" and "More pure" but I personally hope I never heard an album on a good system.
"That which I do not hear, will not get me to buy new equipment"
My dad has been taking great care of his records, and he expects who ever inherits them (most likely either me or bro) to do the same. He uses Nitty Gritty Fluid, and unfortunately, the motor on our vacuum system is broken. :frowning:
