I am not a video fanatic by any means. Could someone please explain to me the Geometry concerns that many of you have with the Flat TV's. I am currently deciding on which new reasonably priced 27" Flat I should get for my new apt.
and on my post below several of you have mentioned geometry problems. Thanks!

Geometry is distortion visible mainly in straight line, or perfectly round object. A simple grid pattern available on many calibration dvd will show this quite clearly. But often you can see it by watching a simple movie. The problem are mainly around the edge of the screen, when you see a straight line like a wall corner going on the side of the tv, sometime you will see that the bottom and top part curve a little for an inch or so, or the complete line become a gentle curve.
