Every "Evil Dead II" DVD that I've seen where I live (Ontario) has three stars and the name "Roger Ebert" under them on the cover. However, the dvdaficionado.com picture doesn't have these. Is this just something on Canadian versions of the DVD?

This is on the standard keepcase US release. It's written fairly small and I wouldn't expect it to show up in the DVD Aficionado scan.

Maybe you're using the picture for the LE Tin? The tin doesn't have the 3 stars thing. Or maybe dvdaf.com just used the scan of the Tin cover over and over again.

No, it's not the Tin or the Special Edition. He talk about the first region 0 by Anchor Bay.

I selled my copy, but I remember the 3 stars on it too, I purchased it from canada.

I'm saying that dvdaficionado may be using the cover scan from the tin for all versions of the dvd, since the covers are pretty much the exact same.
