Ever use 'Micro$oft' or 'Di$ney' or '$pielberg' spellings?

Ooops, you got me on that one.
I guess I was thinking more about the dollar sign than the correct spelling. One of my pet peeves, boy am I embarassed. [IMG]

I always spell Micro$oft with a $ instead of the S. Back in college I was assisting the lab manager and whenever I needed to reinstall a machine, right after installing Word, the first thing I did was setting up an auto-correct to change "Microsoft" to "Micro$oft" haha!

I hate 99.999% of intentional misspelling of words... Just seems so cheesy and immature, always makes me think they are trying to be "cool and clever", and failing horribly at both...
But maybe I am just bitter at having most computer hardware forums overrun by "0wnzors" and "teh"... [IMG]

    I think $uch $pellings are $tupid. $eriously.

In a capitalist society, the worst criticism you can think to level at a person or corporation is that they care only about money? Ironic.

I'll do better than that; I'll edit the title. The initial post is at your discretion.

I'm certainly in no position to complain. I can't remember a single post of mine that I haven't had to go back and correct in one way or another. Including this one.

I used to do the Microsoft spelling a lot a few years ago. Now it's lost on tired eyes, methinks, even though I do despise Microsoft and don't use a single one of their products.
