    heh, I read a piece along these lines a long time ago, maybe 20 years? vaguely remember that in this scenario, the now disused "c" would be reintroduced in place of "th", and of course hard "g" would be changed to "j" exclusively. or some other similar nonsense. [​IMG]
    and that final twist about now speaking German anyway was hilarious.
    but as Andrew said, the French would never agree...
