My wife and I have a wreath made of eucalyptus leaves that we got 7 years ago. It's been hanging on a wall everywhere we've lived, but just recently we found it bleeding on our walls. We noticed little green streaks on the walls under it and a few green drops on the night stand beneath it. Upon closer inspection we found little green drops of "blood" on every cut twig. Almost like all the remaining moisture was being drawn out of it. What causes this and is it normal?
We just threw it away because we don't know of any way to fix it and it's making a huge mess.

Actually Bill, you could have hairsprayed it to death and it would harden and in a sense, be preserved. I do this with the flowers I get my wife from time to time.
