    Hi

I've got the Marantz SR6300 receiver and I'm trying to find out what the sub crossover is for this unit, in both speaker modes: large and small.

My speakers can extend down to 30hz, and I own a very capable Paradigm PW-2200 subwoofer. But, I'm not sure which setting will produce the best blend.

Anyone familiar with the crossover settings on the Marantz receivers? Unfortunately, that's the one main thing missing from this great unit is an adjustable crossover.

    Thanks for your help!

    Michael

100Hz. I never found it to be much of an issue with my 6200 when I had it.

With an extension of 30Hz, you will still want to set them to small. For music, use source direct which will bypass bass management and let them play full range.

Yep, that's the only drawback that I've found with my marantz, the only feature I'd like to add, that is common on comparable units. But I'd just have to sacrafice too much else to get that crossover feature, and I'm big on 2-channel direct anyway, so it's not a big deal.
