Eraserhead plain wrap version: can't play extras (1 Viewer)

I've already returned one copy and now my second one won't play the 2nd layer with the "Stories" and the trailer. What gives? Is this a common problem?

I had no problems on my LG player, nor did my friend on his no name walmart special.
