    Another question?[IMG]
I have an equalizer that I'm using on my old Technics reciever right now. Using this receiver only for music.
Should I bother hooking this up to my new Onkyo 595 when I get it? I'll be using the new system with JBL NSP1's, and Sony SA-WM40 sub for DVD and music.
    Thanks.

    Jerry,
If your receiver has a switchable tape monitor loop you will be able to use the equalizer (some receivers these days don’t have one). However, you will only be able to use it for two-channel (stereo) music playback. It will not work with the 5-channel Dolby Digital audio on DVDs. If you engage the tape monitor with a DVD, the receiver will default to Dolby Pro-Logic mode.
    Happy Holidays,
